traveled to Hawaii a few years ago and visited all the orchid farms I could find on Maui. What a thrill to see and photograph these magnificent species! My favorite orchid is the Cattelya variety.  This lovely orchid is called "Amber Glow" and is one of the best paintings I have ever done.
